Kenny Griffith, Fitchburg, MA

  As many of you know, Kenny Griffith has been dealing with a serious health issue for over a year now.  We thought, with a clean bill of health just a couple of months ago, that he and Kayla Hamilton would be able to restart their lives and plans, which were put on hold during this past year.  Unfortunately, this time has been shortened.  Kenny's cancer has returned and they are once again faced with a battle for his life.

We are rallying all their friends and families to help these two get through the "daily" parts of life.  You all know how stressful it can be just to deal with finances on a "normal" basis but when you add in a health crisis, everything becomes 100x more stressful.  With your donation, Kenny and Kayla can take comfort in knowing that their daily life will remain fairly normal and that bills, food, gas and heat will be taken care of during this time.

They don't ask for this help.  If you know either or both of them, you know that they are private and proud people.  But right now, they need our help.  They also need everyone's positive thoughts!!  Please remind them both, every time you see or speak with them, that TODAY IS WHAT MATTERS!!!  They are both here, living and breathing and to not take one moment of that for granted.

I recently read something that a young girl said after her parents and siblings were killed by a family member.  I will paraphrase, "In the darkness, there is always light.  You just need to flick the switch on".  Please make sure that you flick the switch on when you see either one of them.  There is more goodness every day then sadness.  We need to remind them to build on the good things in life, no matter how small or incidental they may seem.
