Sparks Family

God unexpectedly called Scott Sparks to be with Him in Heaven. There are no words that can even start to describe the tragic and sudden health complications that led to Scott’s passing. As surprising and difficult as his passing is for everyone, we can find some sense of comfort in knowing that God was not taken by surprise. God had been preparing Scott for this moment in many ways without him or any of us even realizing it. While we don’t understand why, we can and must cling to the One (Jesus) whom we know holds all things together.

As the founding pastor of The Grove Church, Scott was an amazing example of Jesus for all of us, and you don’t have to look very far to see the impact he made. Scott was much more than a pastor to so many people as he embraced everyone as a friend and valued the moments he spent with each person. Yesterday was a clear reminder of his legacy and impact by the great response of people at the hospital. Scott loved greatly and was greatly loved.

All donations will be given to the Sparks family to help relieve some of the financial expenses the family will be incurring as a result of Scott's passing.
