The Baby Wallace Project

As many of you know Gary and I have been trying to grow our family for going on 7 years, we have had many tests and treatments done but so far we have been unable to conceive a child of our own. We came to the decision in 2013 to adopt a child but quickly realized the costs were not in our favor. Recently we were introduced to some fundraising ideas to help make our dream and the dream of a child to have a forever home become a reality. We have an abundance of love to share, we could easily make this fundraiser an effort to raise money for IVF in order to conceive a child of our own. That is not what we feel in our hearts at this time though, as we look at pages and pages of bright smiling faces, describing their favorite things and personality traits, asking for a "Forever Home" we feel that this is the path we need to take. This fundraiser is not for US, as much as it is making a better life for a child who so desperately wants a loving family. We want to make that a reality and with your help you can also make a difference in a child’s life. You can be a part of something that will forever change Gary and I's life along with one very special child. It’s not easy for us to ask for help, but setting our pride aside we are reaching out to you now in hopes that someday this dream can become a reality. We are so in love with a child we have yet to meet, our skin may not match, it won’t have our eyes or mouth, we won’t know what it’s like to look at him and catch a glimpse of ourselves as a child but what we could see is far more beautiful than that; a matching of hearts. We have a long ways to go, please take this journey with us in whatever form that may be. We appreciate you now and always.
