Cooper's Cut for Cancer
Hi, my name is Cooper Custance. I am 11 years old and I have been growing my hair for more than a year and it is driving me crazy! It's in my face all the time. I have to wash it and brush it constantly, and everyone thinks I'm a girl. Although I'm tired of being called "young lady" it's been worth it and soon it will be over and I will be able to help people.
In April 2015 my hair will finally be 12 inches long and I am shaving my head to help cancer patients by raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society. I'm also going to donate my hair to Wigs For Kids which is an organization that has been helping kids for over 30 years who have lost there hair due to medical issues such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia, and burns.
I hoping my friends and family will sponsor me to shave my head so I can make a big donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. No amount is too small, any little bit helps. Thanks for your support and for helping with this great cause.
I will post pictures of myself after my head is shaved and if you live nearby you can come and watch - I will let you know the exact time and place it is happening soon!!!
