<div>Lapu-Lapu Day is more than a celebration — it’s a moment of pride, culture, and unity for the Filipino community in BC. But to keep this annual festival going strong and safe, the organizers are required by the City of Vancouver to cover costly security expenses — including barricades, security patrols, dump trucks and more.

<div>On June 8, 2025, we’re hosting a full-day community haircut fundraiser. Every participating artist is donating their time and skill, and 100% of proceeds will go directly toward helping Filipino BC pay for security measures to ensure that next year’s Lapu-Lapu Day is not only successful — but safe and protected for all who attend.
