Firstly I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read my story. I'm not the kind of person to ask for help so me doing this is taking a lot.
I have kept this on the DL because of everything my family has been going thru with my mom. But yesterday morning we got all the answers.......
So after about a year of being on certain medications to help with this or that it seems that it all stems from one thing. I have Cushing’s Disease. Cushing’s Disease is when there is a benign tumor growing on your pituitary gland that is sending more signals than it should to your adrenal glands to create cortisol in your body. Cortisol is a good thing but too much cortisol throws your body entirely out of whack. So with having Cushing Disease it looks like I’m going to have to have surgery to remove the tumor. It’s planned for next month and I could use all the good vibes I can while going through this difficult time. Thank you all for supporting me in the past month with the death of my Birth Giver and now with my own health issues.
I have Cushing Disease and I have to have surgery. I have found out that I can't get FMLA or Short Term Disability threw work. I will be out of work for 6 weeks after my surgery on January 12th. I have keep this from friends and family because I just lost my mom to her battle to Cancer and I didn't want to add stress to anyone till we knew what needed to be done.
