Curt's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Monday the 9th of October, Curt Hagey was involved in a horse accident that has since resulted in a continuous stay in the trauma center's ICU in Ft. Worth, TX. He will go into his sixth surgery on Wednesday, October 18th.  A young horse flipped over backwards on him causing some severe damage to his lower abdomen. Through all of the surgeries, the doctors have removed his appendix, repaired tears, resected sections of his intestines and left his incision open with a VAC seal. He currently has a low grade infection and has not been allowed to eat or drink anything in over a week. We are unsure of how many more surgeries he will need, and how long it will take for him to be released from the hospital.

The continued prayers and outpouring of love has been felt in such a huge way. That is why we have decided to set up this GoFundMe account. We are overwhelmed by the eagerness of friends and family to offer their support. Curt is a self-employed horseshoer who recently moved almost 900 miles away from his home of over 50 years. He is facing a long recovery and mountain of medical bills. Any support you can offer would be more helpful than you know. Thank you so much, and please continue to pray. "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up..." James 5:15
