On Dec 5th , 2020 my 14 year old nephew Curtis Jr. suffered from a sudden stroke and was immediately air lifted to children’s hospital in San Francisco where Drs performed emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. As a result, his whole left side of his body is now paralyzed and he is not able to walk on his own. Curtis Jr. is a smart and funny young man with a great sense of humor that is only over shadowed by the size of his big kind heart.
Despite of his circumstances Curtis Jr. has kept his spirits high and a positive attitude through it all. Even having to spend his 15th birthday in a hospital bed. Both of his parents have worriedly been by his side since day one of his incident. They are both doing everything they can to help him champion through his road to recovery where he’s currently being treated in Davis. Unfortunately their efforts have greatly affected their finances as both parents have not been to work to be with their baby boy.
