Brian Curry Cancer Fundraiser

Thanks for visiting the Brian Curry Cancer Fund. Donations to the fund go directly towards Brian's medical and living expenses. As we all know, insurance only covers so much and now a days most people are living paycheck to paycheck.   
 
Brian, age 42, was diagnosed with a very rare cancer in his abdomen (GIST) on September 5th 2012. He will be receiving chemotherapy due to the very large size and invasiveness of his cancer in attempt to shrink the mass prior to surgery. After surgery, in approximately one month, if it does shrink, he may need more chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Brian is such a selfless man and is so used to being the one to help others in need, so he may be very upset that this fundraiser was started. However, this is not just to help him but to help with the financial aspects of the whole family. Besides the life risk to Brian, Heather his wife, Maya (7), Ava (5), and Nathan (17) have always depended on Brian to be the breadwinner of household. Heather will continue Childcare out of their home during this turmoil; however, due to the illness and treatment, Brian will be unable to work during this time.
