Curing Connor

Donation protected
A little over a week ago Barb and Adrian brought Connor to the doctor for what they thought was just a nagging cough.  Little did they know this would turn into their greatest nightmare.  A CT scan confirmed that Connor had a massive tumor growing between his lungs.  This test also revealed that he had an enormous amount of fluid around his heart, so he was admitted immediately to the ICU at Christ.  Connor underwent surgery right away to help drain the fluid to alleviate all the pressure on the heart.  Further tests were completed and Connor is diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Advanced stage.  It has spread to 4 other parts of his body.  He will need to undergo chemotherapy for at least 4 months, up to 3 times a week, and then later will have radiation therapy.

Here is where we need your help.   Barb carries the medical insurance and the company she works for will be  closing their doors at the end of September.  Barb will lose her medical insurance as well as her job in a few weeks.  The only option she has in order to continue treatment for Connor is to pay for Cobra, which is an exorbitant amount each month,  and she will be faced with the extreme cost of  medical bills that go along with cancer.  She will have to delay finding a new job until after his treatments end since he will need to be taken a few times a week to chemo, and will need to be home schooled until at least February.   Connor is 15 years old in his sophomore year of high school.

All donations are extremely appreciated.  Thank you for your time and prayers,  and let's begin "Curing Connor"!
