Cure for Clare

In December 2016 our mum was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Initially the plan was 3 rounds of chemo then surgery to remove her entire stomach. Although we were shocked and scared, we were happy knowing that there was a potential cure. Our mum went through 9 weeks of hell battling the chemo and never once complained.

Unfortunately when the surgeon went to operate she found the chemo had not worked and the tumor had grown and was no longer operable. The doctors have said she is terminal and they just trying to buy her some time now. However this isn't an option for us. We need our mum.

So, we are hoping to raise money to fund some alternative treatments that we have been researching. At this point we are willing to try anything to get her better.

Our mum is the loveliest most beautiful soul who has spent her entire life putting others before herself. All she wants is to see her kids grow up and get to be a grandma. She is only 49. 

Over the coming months friends and family will be doing events to show their support and help raise money. Starting with a triathlon that close friends and family will be participating in.

There is no kinder or more compassionate person on this earth. If you can help in any way possible it will mean the world to our family.
