Eye surgery for Chase

Last night while we were at a Christmas performance our dog Chase was injured in a freak accident. His eye has a severe laceration and the actual eye ball is pushed into the socket. We rushed him to the closest emergency vet who told us he need a to see a specialist. The nearest specialist is an hour and a half away. My Husband took Chase to the specialist who said he needs surgery but is pretty confident they can save the eye. Right now we just want Chase healthy. My son Steven is very attached to Chase and would be devistated if we can't help him. To Steven Chase is not just a dog. He is his best friend and someone that will never judge him. My husband has been out of work since June and even though he is now a realtor the market is horrible and he hasnt sold anything, so we are trying to figure out how to pay for the surgery. Please if you can find it in your heart tp help us to bring Chase back to Steven it would be greatly appreciated. Right now we are told it will cost at least $2000 for everything but we are unsure if he will need more. Thank you so much!
