Mi mamá, Celia Jiménez, fue diagnosticada con cáncer de tiroides anaplásico, una forma muy agresiva que no tiene cura. A pesar de la noticia devastadora, mi mamá nunca derramó una lágrima; enfrentó su diagnóstico con una fuerza increíble y siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro. Vivió rodeada de seres queridos, tanto aquí en Estados Unidos como en México. Su último deseo fue ser enterrada en México junto a su esposo, para poder descansar en paz con la persona que más amaba.
