Help Cullen Kick MDS

Donation protected
After multiple hospital visits, countless blood draws, and bone marrow biopsies, Cullen Brown was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) in May 2014. MDS, also called pre-leukemia, is characterized by low blood counts caused by bone marrow failure that gets progressively worse.

Cullen is the 1 year old son of Gregg and Lee Brown. He is also a twin brother to Charlee Rae, and little brother to Tanner and Baylee.

.

Cullen's treatment will begin June 5th and is expected to last up to 7 months. This is a long time for this close-knit family of 6 to be split between Valdosta & Gainesville, not to mention the cost they are about to incur with travel, medical bills, lodging, and loss of income due to being out of work- all of this on top of the normal monthly bills & everyday expenses. Lee will not be able to draw anything from short or long term disability because it does not cover a sick child, so the months of work that she will miss, she will not have any type of supplemental income for. And Gregg already used almost all of his leave time when Cullen was in the hospital for two weeks in April. They never would have dreamed they would have a seven month hospital stay ahead of them.

As overwhelmed as they are, they both have such a strong faith and they know that God is in control and He will make a way. Please consider making a donation, no matter how large or small, and help lighten the burden on this precious family so they can focus on getting Cullen well and getting their family back together again.
