Shawn’s medical bills

This is my sweet, handsome, kind nephew, Shawn.  He has been dealt a lousy hand with a diagnosis of Stage 4 rectal cancer which has metastasized to most major organs. Because of his chemo and radiation therapies, Shawn hasn’t been able to work since January, 2016. With the help of his beautiful wife, Caryn and family and friends, He has barely been able to keep his head above water.

Shawn just got word from his doctor that there is nothing more they can do for him. He begins hospice care tomorrow. But,  Shawn has one last thing he wants to do and that is to drive the coast to Maine!  He’s only 45 years old and I would love him to get his wish. 

The last year and a half have been like a bad dream. My husband, Denny was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (he’s a walking miracle right now,) and I lost my brother Bill (Shawn’s dad) to colon cancer in April. 

So,  your help, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and to Shawn.  I know this won’t help with a cure for cancer but it will be a comfort to give Shawn and Caryn some joy.
