Our Baby Loss Awareness Web was to support parents that lost their babies.
Recently, we launched "Take your time" campaign, considering the points below:
- 24,000 babies are stillborn each year in the U.S.
- 1 every 4 pregnancies end up in a loss
- All parents report they would like to have had more time with their children to say goodbye;
- Researches proved the holding and spending time with babies after perinatal death largely identifies positive psychological outcomes for the parents, specially because the bonding process
UK is the reference in baby loss support and more than 95% of their hospitals have a CuddleCost, a system which cools baby allowing families to stay with their baby before being moved to the morgue and is in use in thousands of hospitals across the world. The CuddleCot is highlighted by academics as allowing families to provide after-death care to their babies.
In US, Brazil and other countries, this is not that popular which brings an increase in the psychosomatic diseases for the families.
This campaign aims to raise money to but CuddleCots and donate to hospitals in US and Brazil
