Cuchumatanes and Hurricane Eta Relief Fund

Let's bring some smiles to children and families of Guatemala! Since I was little my family and I would travel around Christmas time to Sierra de los Cuchumatanes. The villages on Sierra de los Cuchumatanes are very beautiful, but also very remote and the winter seasons are very cold. When we traveled there, my family and I would bring sweaters and blankets for those in need (especially up the mountain were lots of people live in really poor conditions).

Originally my idea for this fund was to do the same but, unfortunately Guatemala was hit hard by Hurricane Eta and other storms. In addition to helping the people of Cuchmatanes we want to create packages with food, blankets, hygiene products, medicines, and toys (for kids), and donate them to the people that have lost everything in the storms. Please let us know if you would like to specify the cause you wish to support. 

My brother who just turned 15 plans to travel from December 14 to 18 to the mountains to deliver the packages with some local members of my family.
We will upload receipts from the purchases and send you photos of all the deliveries. Your aid will go to those who have lost everything to the Hurricane, and will ensure that the children of Cuchmatanes have a joy filled Christmas and a warmer winter.
