Hello to my friend reading this message, my name is Angel Aviles. I'm originally from Ecuador and have been living in the USA since 2001.
My whole life I was healthy until A year ago when I became one of the 8500 people that everyday in the United States will listen to the three words that no human being ever wants to hear in his life, YOU HAVE CANCER.
At that time in my life my wife olivia and I had just gotten married and we were expecting our first little baby Mia. My whole life I waited to be a dad and my dream of finally being a dad was coming true. I had too much to lose I was going to make sure I gave everything to fight this battle and win!!! We stated our fight as a family just 3 days after our first oncology appointment.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse B-cell Lymphoma and lymphoma cells in my brain. Only 10% of lymphoma patients have lymphoma cells travel to their brain like mine did. Our doctor told us we were fighting a very rare and aggressive cancer but we never thought of giving up only of fighting harder.
I'm currently undergoing chemo number 17 at the MOFFITT CANCER CENTER IN TAMPA FLORIDA. I have also had 10 sessions of radiation and at least 40 spinal taps with chemo to combat the cancer in my brain.
While I have been extremely blessed not to be effected by the side effects of the chemo and radiation the doctors have told us that it seems my body has become resistant to the chemo and is not fighting the cancer cells the way it should be. The Cancer is Progressing and they are encouraging us and telling us we really need to do something different.
This motivated my wife Olivia, my sister Linda, and I to start looking for alternative treatments. We've been directed to a few different centers at different places all over the US.
The Hippocrates treatment center in West Palm Beach Florida has agreed to help me and we have heard testimonies of success from a personal friend who had stage 4 throat cancer and did treatment through this program. He is now 3 years cancer free. The cost of the clinic and program is 10,000 and since his insurance won't cover this program we have to raise the money ourselves
Even the fact that this event affected the daily course of our lives, we are stronger and happier than ever. And we are facing every day at a time with lots of faith, optimism and a smile. Thanking God for give us the opportunity to share and live our lives and for the opportunity to keep fighting.My family and I are looking forward to continue in this journey we started a year ago, unfortunately fighting this decease is financially a struggle.
We want to ask our friends around the country and the world to make a donation to our fundraiser campaign to accomplish our goal of going to Hippocrates for treatment even if its a small amount of money that would help us to raise the fund needed to accomplish this treatment and continue our fight. Esto sucedió hace ya un año, justamente un mes más tarde de hacerme casado con mi esposa Olivia quien estaba con cinco meses

Mi diagnóstico es cancer al sistema linfático en estación avanzado 4. Solamente el 10% de pacientes con este tipo de cáncer viaja al cerebro, yo estoy dentro de aquel 10%. De acuerdo a los doctores es un tipo de cancer muy agresivo y muy raro.
Actualmente estoy recibiendo mi quimioterapia número 17, he recibido 10 sesiones de radioterapia y 40 quimioterapias especiales para mi cerebro que se realizan inyectando quimioterapia por medio de los líquidos de la médula espinal.
He sido muy bendecido por Dios al haber tenido durante estos meses de tratamiento un mínimo de efectos
secundarios en mi cuerpo. Lamentablemte al mismo tiempo a pesar de todos los tratamientos recibidos no hemos podido extraer el cáncer. Los doctores están luchando con las medicinas pero nos dicen que es tiempo de buscar alternativas y tratamientos diferentes.

El centro de tratamiento de Hipócrates en West Palm Beach Florida se ha comprometido a ayudarme y hemos oído testimonios de éxito de un amigo personal que tenía la etapa 4 del cáncer de garganta e hizo tratamiento a través de este programa. Ahora es de 3 años libre de cáncer. El costo de la clínica y el programa es de 10.000 y puesto que su seguro no cubre este programa tenemos que reunir el dinero a nosotros mismos
Como familia estamos juntos viviendo este hermosa batalla que Dios nos ha encomendado, sin importar los problemas financieros que como resultado de una enfermedad como esta son difíciles de afrontar.
