Burl-Cam Back To School Drive

Friends,

Each year my alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi (Burlington-Camden (NJ) Alumni) donates school supplies to local school in South Jersey. With the help of friends, family, co-workers & fraternity brothers; we were able to raise over $2,000 in funds and school supply donations!!! Last year I did not provide an online option for donations. This is our attempt to bring the campaign to social media! Hopefully GoFundMe.com will help our friends & supporters donate in a user-friendly manner.

Background Information on the ‘Back-to-School' Drive:

The initiative has recently provided great support to South Jersey students who need support. Last year, the students at Thomas H. Dudley elementary school were the recipient of all of the donations. The ability to provide much needed school supplies to the underprivileged is a very rewarding experience. There are no words to describe the joy of the faces of the school’s administration staff, teachers and most importantly… the many students. We hope with the help of you, we can once again help an area school! 

This campaign is processed through our Kappa Community Development Corporation (KCDC), which is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Thus ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX-DEDUTIBLE. We will provide the tax-id number to all donators via our donation thank you emails.

Lastly, each and every donator will receive a ‘post campaign’ follow up email that will detail the results of this year’s 2014 Back-to-School campaign!
