Matt Allen/ Cub/ Muff's Medical Fund

Hello friends, family, crossfitters, and Cub lovers! I can't believe it's been almost a year since we made Matt's fight known, and over two years since he started this battle. As you all know, Cub received his diagnosis of GSS at the end of October; a very rare genetic disease with no treatment or cure. This horrible condition is making everyday tasks a challenge for Matt. But for those of you that know Matt personally like I do, know that he doesn't back down from a challenge. I'm sure by now Facebook has made you aware that it's Cub's birthday on Friday, March 9th (what did we do before Facebook's notifications?!), and so I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to show him some birthday love! Myself, Ryan, Steve, and Sami threw a birthday party for him when I was visiting last week, and he had a blast! We brought Las Vegas to Blue Springs MO, playing blackjack and roulette all night long! Our top winners won some interesting prizes that had us laughing for hours, and we had a spread of all of Muff's favorite food and drinks. Matt definitely felt the birthday love from his friends and family in his hometown. (Pictures to post soon!) So back to your turn... I'm starting this seperate fundraiser because I honestly don't know of anyone more deserving than this guy. As you can imagine, disability payments don't amount to much, and now that we are starting full time in home care, that monthly budget will get tighter. What I don't want is Matt to feel like he can't order a movie on Amazon, or spend $30 a week on donuts (yes he eats 2 donuts a day and maintains his figure lol) , or get a new wheel chair because he can't afford it.
