Cub Scout Trailer and Goods Replacement

Donation protected
As many of you know,  on December 17th a white truck pulled into our church parking lot (New Hope Presbyterian), hooked up to our Scout trailer and pulled out of the church parking lot.  We have a video which I will try to upload here of the theft.  You cannot read the license plate of the truck.  The trailer was full of stock pots, propane burner stoves, canopies, lanterns, the scout pinewood derby track and just about everything the scouts used for camping.  Cub Scout Pack 239 and the members of the Pack had worked very hard to purchase all of these items, including putting new tires on the trailer and keeping it road worthy.  Our intention in sharing the video and story was never about soliciting donations, but simply to get the story out with hopes of catching the thief or thieves responsible.  Despite that, several individuals saw the news report and contacted us with offers to help replace the items on behalf of the local Scouts.  At their suggestion and request we have started this GoFundMe.  Please know that every dollar raised will be sent to the Cub and Boy Scouts in the Pack 239 area.  On a personal note, Ed and I will donate all of the fees that GoFundMe would charge so that the Scouts get every dollar donated.  Thank you to everyone who has shared the video, for your generosity and the support both the church and the local Scout community has received.
