Oxygen Freedom

Donation protected
My name is Laura Adney and I have battled breast cancer since 2001.  This time last year I found myself needing oxygen to supplement my breathing.  Simply put, without it, I struggle to breathe.

My challenge is that while I have insurance that does assist greatly they will not assist in purchasing a portable oxygen concentrator, such as The InogenOne, http://www.inogen.com.

Currently I have a concentrator that I use at home and tanks for away from home.  Unfortunately tanks are very cumbersome, heavy, and make leaving the house daunting.  They also require planning to insure you have enough for the event.  They can even be hazardous as they are easy to trip on or create a whiplash affect.

With a Portable Concentrator, I can replace my in home concentrator and the tanks.  I will gain significant freedom and most importantly curative freedom.  I believe with added mobility I will be able to take steps to assist in healing my lungs and heart.

Right now I am homebound by my breathing circumstance, and I want to gain my freedom to enjoy my grandchild, to enjoy work, to enjoy travel, and just be able to leave my home confident that I will be able to breathe comfortably and promote better health.

The portable concentrators are approximately 4000.00 and I am asking for community help.  With this freedom, my pledge is that when I no longer need the portable concentrator, it will find its way into someone else's life that needs some extra help and would benefit from the freedom it provides.

Thank you!!! - Laura
