They rushed him into an emergency, high-risk exploratory surgery where they found he had intestinal intussusception. Luckily, the surgery was a success and they were able to separate his intestines . A few days after surgery, I brought him home and noticed he was still not eating or drinking and began throwing up again. I took him back to the animal hospital, and was told he had a recurrence of his intussusception and needed a second emergency surgery. His intestinal intussusception was much worse this round but they were able to resect his intestines a second time and I now have a happy, loving puppy.
I am so incredibly happy and fortunate that the surgeon and MedVet team were able to save his life. Based upon the two surgeries, various tests and multiple nights at the animal hospital, the medical bills are currently at $10,000. I am humbly asking for donations to help pay for the medical bills. Any donation, small or large, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all! I'm sure everyone loves their pet as much as I love George, so I genuinely and generously thank all who can help!
