Liam Blakey

On the 12th of April this year my fit and healthy 14-year-old brother Liam was flown to Randwick Children’s hospital and shortly after was put on life support. It has been without a the toughest months I have ever had to endure with a top neurology team not knowing what was wrong, how to make him better and what the future would hold. After Liam was taken off life support the neurology team said his progress is in his hands. We have had to help him learn how to walk, talk and eat again. He is still fighting strong, however he is still heavily medicated and requires a lot more support to regain his independence. He has Autoimmune Post-Viral Encephalitis. One in a million they say.. Goes to show you really don’t know what life has in store for you. Please help me raise money to provide Liam with the future he deserves.
