Financially broke due to cancer

I was a strong independent person that drove a semi truck for a living till I was knocked down by melanoma cancer in my left eye. Im losing my eye they have to take it out. Which disqualifies me from driving truck . Im losing my health insurance because it was through my job. I have no money coming in and Ive got so many bills pileing up. Medical and monthly. I have to travel to a specialist in Iowa City Iowa because what I have is so rare. And not many Drs do it. I have applied for disability but was told it could be 6 months to a year before I get it. They put me on depression meds because Im a total basket case. Im losing it I hate asking for help but I cant do it alone. I also having to move in with my daughter in Carter Lake Iowa. My stuff going into storage. I cant afford apartment and am gonna need the help learning things over.  And anybody that knows her knows she has it hard enough with out me. So Im having to ask. Before I can get it. Lost insurance day b4 surgey so stuck with full bill too. Please help...
