Help Us Stand Up and Stand With Parents For Children!
-Est.2011-
The Connecticut Parents Union (CTPU is an all volunteer parent-led organization whereby parents, guardians, and families are connected with the educational resources and support system necessary to protect their children’s educational rights thus ensuring that neither race, zip-code nor socio-economic status is a predictor of a child’s success.
Did You Know the Connecticut Parents Union successfully spearheaded grassroot efforts in 2011 to stop the felony arrest of parents for school residency violations, with a parent facing up to 20 years in jail. Our victory was in 2013 when a bill was signed into law to stop this unjust zip-code education law,
Did You Know our annual Connecticut Parents Union "Tis The Season To Be Reading and All Aboard our "Parent Express Bus" has served over 6,000 students and 1800 parents since 2011 and have distributed over 10,000 books. Every year we serve 10 cities in 3 days giving away 1000 books and other educational resources.
Don’t miss your opportunity to support a child’s individual right to be “Free to Learn, Grow and Thrive".
Why? Because every child, regardless of race, zip-code, or income level, should be free to learn, explore self-governing opportunities, grow and succeed thus ensuring they can compete both locally and globally. After all, they are our future workforce!
How Your Support Will Help Diverse Parents and Students
Every dollar that is donated to the Connecticut Parents Union helps fund our advocacy efforts to expand parent education choice and schooling option. Why? Because every parent should have the legal right to choose the best schooling fit for their child.
Your support makes it possible for us to:
Engage and mobilize priority education communities around School Safety and Education Freedom for all families.
Build sustainable relationships with researchers. Why? Because good reliable data matters to families.
Build membership capacity and sustainability for our education advocacy efforts throughout Connecticut.
Please Help Spread the Word – ALL children deserve to be free to learn, grow, and thrive as engaged and informed citizens.
Let's work together to help ensure Connecticut students get Back On Track academically and Stay On Track during these unprecedented times.
