The Connecticut Film Initiative (CTFI) is proud to announce a merging with TriCircle, Inc for a special inaugural project. Together, we will create a Public Service Announcement in promotion of the TriCircle, Inc. mission.
This PSA will showcase the unique 3Phase Plan set forward by Tricircle, as we advocate not only for support and recovery, but for a drug free world. Our PSA will be one to convey a message of hope and change.
Together, CTFI and Tricircle are creating a piece of art that will speak to furthering the vision and mission of TriCircle, while launching opportunities for filmmakers and artists who strive to make a difference in their communities with their craft.
This is a project that both participants and donors can be incredibly proud of! So lets make this happen! But first, a little bit of information on each of these organizations:
The Connecticut Film Initiative has Entertainment and Film for Therapy divisions.
The mission of our Film For Therapy movement is twofold: First, we create meaningful films with themes that raise awareness for social causes, while simultaneously promoting a call to action. Second, CTFI's Film For Therapy seeks to provide an artistic outlet for those overcoming afflictions, with our film projects serving as the medium. We are partnering with organizations across the state, to collaborate and create pieces that will serve as advocates for social change. As the inaugural project of our Film for Therapy movement, we will be working with TriCircle Inc and it's members to create this special PSA.
TriCircle, Inc. is an organization that provides resources for people and families affected by substance use disorders. Through education, research, and community engagement Tricircle is dedicated to providing the tools that build strong futures.
Furthermore, TriCircle, Inc. envisions that all people seeking recovery be given inspiration, skills, and opportunities within a safe, stigma free community. This is what will support substance free, long- term wellness.
Fundraising Purpose: All funds generated from TriCircle and CTFI's GoFundMe will contribute entirely towards the production of this Public Service Announcement. Any remaining funds will be distributed evenly between both TriCircle and CTFI to foster both company growth and the growth of their vision.
As CTFI begins to create professional film opportunities for Connecticut filmmakers, providing compensation for this Film For Therapy project is of the utmost importance. CTFI strives to support the filmmakers contributing their talent, time and effort. Furthermore, producing a high-quality and professional piece on behalf of CTFI and TriCircle is important!
Compensation for a professionally run shoot has expenses such as: meals for participants and crew members (craft services), post-production costs (color equalization, editing etc), rental equipment (lights, cameras, etc), insurance for the safety of everyone on set, screening (and possible distribution) costs once the film is completed.
