CTDI Houston Hurricane Flood Relief

On Friday, August 25th, Hurricane Harvey hit land in Texas, and then continued on to batter cities and towns along the Gulf of Mexico.    Particularly hard hit was the city of Houston, which received over 40 inches of rain in a short period of time, leaving behind record breaking flooding.  Homes have been damaged or destroyed and thousands have been displaced.  Many are categorizing this natural disaster as the worst rainfall event in the country’s history. 

 With Houston being one of the largest areas affected, many of our employees across the US have reached out to see how they can help our CTDI family in our Houston facility who have been impacted by this natural disaster.  At this time, it has been determined that monetary donations are the most helpful way to make an immediate and positive impact for the CTDI Houston employees.  With this in mind, CTDI has established a relief fund for CTDI employees who have been impacted by the hurricane and flooding. 

All employees of CTDI are eligible to contribute to the fund and CTDI will match the total employee contributions, up to the maximum aggregate sum of $10,000.   The relief fund is intended to assist with property or financial losses sustained by CTDI Houston employees as a result of the flooding, including without limitation, damage to or loss of vehicles, supplies, real property or personal property.  CTDI Houston employees may apply for assistance on an individual basis, up to a maximum amount of $1,000 per employee.  CTDI’s culture has always been to take care of our CTDI family members who are in need, and right now, our Houston family is in need of assistance.  As Mr. P. always said, "a little added to a little must become a great amount."  Any amount you can donate will make a difference for our employees and their families.
