Why do I want to help?
I have known about this for a while now, but I didn't know how to help. This is my first action. The first step I am taking to help end child marriage. I really believe that to remove societies limits, you must remove your personal limits first.
How will the journey begin?
On August 30, 2014, I am going to run my first ultra marathon in the middle of the Texas summer. (If you are new to the running world, this is a 50 mile journey of willpower and strength.)
How can you help? YOU CAN DO SOMETHING RIGHT NOW.
I am raising money for Too Young To Wed a non-profit that helps stop child marriages around the world and helps get a education for these young girls.
Donate $5, $10, $25, $50 or more. Anything will help me speed past that 46 mile marker and persevere through the 50 mile finish line. Your support is not only helping me, but it is helping the 39,000 girls in need to obtain an education and will help to end cild marriage.
