CT Scanner In South Sudan

Greetings from South Sudan!  We are a Not-for-Profit called MRDCi working in Juba for the last 3+ years ( www.mrdc-int.com). Our mission is unique in that we fund surgeries for the poor by providing not-for-profit care for internationals. Our mission is unique in that we take care of internationals, and by simply not profit taking, we can provide operations for the poor.  Our effort in South Sudan is particularly important because the main hospital in Juba does not have the funds to care for its patients.  We provide surgical campaigns to reach those whom would likely not otherwise receive care.


At this time, there is no CT scanner for the poor in all of South Sudan.  CT images are often crucial to determine whether or not a patient requires an operation, and it is extremely difficult to provide quality care without it. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to request your help in purchasing a CT machine to support our mission in South Sudan.   Many times we need images to determine if a patient requires an operation or not.

Our request is unique for two reasons:

First, we will match every dollar that is donated because we believe so much in this effort.   
Second, once this CT is purchased it will self-sustain by attending to those patients with means funding those without.
