Heather's Healing Journey

This is a very difficult and emotional experience for us right now as we come to you to ask for your support.  As most of you are aware our daughter Heather Adams has been battling an eating disorder for far too many years now and in these last several years it has become even more severe.   She has recognized that she is unable to heal on her own and needs professional help in order to do so. Heather has researched various options to receive the help she needs. She feels that full time, in-house residential care and guidance would be the most beneficial for her to get this help and to then transition back into a healthier lifestyle.  She has been offered one of five spaces in a program in Manitoba that offers support through counselling and dietitian services. This is a private facility that requires a minimum stay of four weeks with the option to stay longer if needed. We are asking for your help to raise the money needed for Heather to participate in this program. A goal of $15,000 has been set to allow for a stay of four to six weeks. If you are able to help in anyway we will all be very grateful and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
