Brain tumor surgery fast approachin

My husband and I are always the ones helping others, so this is VERY difficult for me!!! It's taken me weeks to get the nerve to do this. 

I have been out of work with an illness since last October, and have had no income since then. My husband has been breaking his back working to support a household of 5 on his own and doing a great job. But recently things have gotten more difficult as my medical expenses have climbed pretty high and so has the price of my medications, even with insurance. 

I have a surgery coming up this Thursday, 8/14, that will take care of most of my problem and allow me to get back to work, which is my biggest goal! But to get to that point, I fear we need some help. My recovery time will be at least 3 months and my husband will need to take some time off of work to help me out. I will not be allowed to be alone and the medications I take will now increase for a while and we will be sinking fast. I am trying to pay some things up to date and plan ahead for the lack of his paycheck coming in, so I can concentrate on my upcoming surgery and getting back on my feet. I also need to cover my coinsurance for this surgery and all the meds I need to have before my operation, so my need is very immediate! 

I'm hoping all the help we have provided for others will be the source of good karma we need right now for help for us. Anything you can give to help will be greatly appreciated and you have my word that if I raise enough and there's anything left over, it will be paid forward to help someone else in need. I am NOT looking to make any money on this. I am just trying to keep our heads above water so we don't lose our home and vehicle and continue feeding our family through this difficult time.

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Asking for help really isn't in our DNA! But when you have no other choice, you do what you have to do.
