<div>Dear compassionate souls this is an update on behalf of our dear friend and fellow teacher Jessica Vanzella. Since May 2023 Jessica was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and is BRCA 1 positive. Triple-negative breast cancer is a more aggressive type of tumor with a faster growth rate, higher risk of metastasis and recurrence risk. Jessica underwent chemotherapy and is still receiving immunotherapy. She will also be taking a chemotherapy pill for the next year. In February, she had a double mastectomy. Since Jessica is BRCA1 positive she will also need to have a hysterectomy. This July, Jessica is scheduled for two more surgeries. As you can imagine this is a scary time for her and her love ones. As a sole provider in the name of her family and friends we are relaunching this Medical Relief Fund to pursue your support in easing the overwhelming burden of medical bills and prescription cost as the medication is not fully covered. The financial strain is big. We believe with the power of the community to make a difference. As Jessica continues teaching during this difficult time regardless of how sick or tired she feels during and after her treatments. The money raised will go directly towards her substantial medical bills. We thank you in advance for your love and support for our dear friend.
