<div>Hey there, my names Crystal, I am 31 years old, I have a beautiful 10 year old daughter Shylynn &amp; 9 yr old son Jamieson and an amazing fiancé Daniel along with some of the most amazing family members and our 3 golden doodles, Beau xena and Conrad! I had an unexpected seizure last Monday night and found I have a large mass on my parietal side of my brain, it was diagnosed as astrocytoma stage 3 Cancer, the first brain biopsy was done last Wednesday night &amp; I have a 6 hour surgery for resection on Tuesday this week, to be completely honest I have no idea what the medical consequences are going to cost us at this time, between treatment and surgery and recovery Dan will need to step away from work to care for me and the kids from time to time and the chemo &amp; radiation will be a process, on top of day to day life with the kids and our pups. I’m not normally someone who asks for anything at all from anyone this is very hard for me as I love being the person who is independent and have always been. But I also do not want things to fall hard on those I love the most in this world. My children, Dan, my family, my friends my dogs are my entire heart and soul. Thats why I chose to write this in my own words instead of friends/family, Prior to any of this I am as blue collar as they go. I was born and raised a dairy farmer in a small town in ny, I have 7 amazing brothers &amp; sisters who I love dearly being the baby in this family has been an absolute honor and to have had the mother &amp; father I was given I couldn’t have been more proud, I went into the oil/gas business at 21 where I built explosives for a wireline company before I was a crane operator for years on wire line truck before the pandemic and after the pandemic I had to move the kids for a more remote life so I started dabbling home improvements painting and anything that could make something better! Along with fitness which is a huge passion just the pursuit of doing things to make things better is how I look at life! I love helping other people anything that takes away someone else’s stress makes me happy! I don’t smoke I don’t drink, if you know me I love fitness and pushing people to push past comforts and be as good as they can be that we are only as strong as our mind, our bodies &amp; our determination and having our well oiled machines ready to go! There’s probably a lot of nicknames people have for me but I’d like to think they are mostly carried by my work ethic and who I work hard on being a role model for not only my kids but for anyone that needs just someone to understand and listen. As far as this new “chapter” in my life I hope that it is exactly that a chapter one that will get me to the next one and the next one to watch and raise my babies and see my nieces and nephews grow up to be amazing little humans, to get married to Dan, to see and be there for my amazing family to see my friends grow &amp; their babies grow, to enjoy more of this life to continue to help other people maybe not the way I used to but maybe in a new way maybe there is someone I can share this story to that can recognize an issue or find out about their own health scare before it comes to this. I don’t wish this on anyone. I don’t understand nor will I waste time asking why, I just want to live. And I’m going to use this time to fight, harder than anything I have ever had to before but I will fight and I will look into any ways of living to see my children grow into adulthood! &amp; live my life with Dan! Thats all I have to say at this time so I can keep my emotions about me, thank you for reading and or sharing I truly appreciate any and all help. I will update as I can or have Dan update but things are very hectic, February 21st 2024 I was hospitalized again for a blood clot this time in the back of my left leg that spanned up my leg into my pelvic area, the following morning I was cleared by my neuro surgeon for at ct scan so that I could get a thrombectomy to get the clot out of my leg. The following morning after heparin I was on a therapeutic level and I was able to get the surgery done they removed 90% of the clot and put me on blood thinners for the foreseeable future, they also diagnosed me with May thurners syndrome. On 2/28/24 I started my radiation treatments 5days a week, I have a mesh screen that goes over my face and the treatment itself takes about 15 minutes total I am off on the weekends. The first week I didn’t notice any side effects i wasn’t getting much sleep though insomnia, however week 2 I was sleeping 16 hours a day I am trying to balance out my sleep and get onto a better diet, I cut out all sugars and drink ph balanced water I will share as much as I can information to help anyone else going through this or anything similar &amp; I will be as open and transparent as humanly possible! Please share if you can and most importantly LOVE the people you have! At all times! &amp; put your health first ALWAYS!
