Cruz Family House Fire Recovery

Last Sunday, the Cruz family suffered a huge loss during a house fire. It happened very quickly and luckily everyone is ok. They however lost so many of their belongings in the fire, along with losing their home.

This family of 8 is such a kind and giving family. Both Mr. Cruz's, father and son, work at elementary schools in Santa Clarita and Agua Dulce. To say they are the custodians would be an understatement because they do more than just clean up our school. They fix what is broken, they help students each and everyday, and they have such kind and giving hearts! They even bring their family to the schools on occassions to prepare for events we have coming up.

During the house fire, they lost most of the things in their bedrooms, clothes, furniture, etc.. They are looking for a new place to reside, while continuing to work as well as cleaning up the remains from the fire. We put $5,000 as the amount we are hoping to raise as soon as possible as this happened just over a week ago, but I hope to exceed that amount. There are so many extra costs associated with this as well as just the basic everyday necessities such as food and water. Many of us cannot imagine losing everything we have, so helping in anyway possible is beyond appreciated!

The Cruz family is such a staple in not only the school, but in the community. Thank you for your time and your help!
