Crush cancer for Val

My sister Valerie Slaton has always been the one to put others before herself no matter what. She is, 43 years of age, is my sister ,wife and mother of 3. She was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and going to undergo 3 months of chemo prior to surgery. She is a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is believing, along with many friends and family for healing in her body! She is in need of your prayers, love, and positive support from friends. We are choosing not to be negative in our words or have a mindset of defeat but of victory through Jesus Christ! Valerie needs to focus on getting better and getting as much rest as possible, thus the reason for creating this site so that you can be kept up to date. She is getting overwhelmed with phone calls and texts, and while she loves appreciates your encouragement, she does not want to dwell on repeating her story and updating her progress over and over again. She also doesn't want to offend you by not responding, but it sometimes gets to be too much. She wants to concentrate on getting better, and I know all who love her want that too! She or someone else will post updates in these next few months so you know what specifically to pray about or what she may need from you. The family is pretty much working out taking meals in each week. If you were wanting to help out with a meal, probably the best way would be a gift card to Subway, KFC, pizza, etc so that on the days no one from the family is taking anything in Ben can stop and just pick up something.
