crump goes to tokyo!

For those who may not know me, I’m Brittney Crump. I’m an aspiring toy designer who is about to graduate from Otis College of Art and Design. I am 35 years old and about to finally earn my first degree. As long as I can remember I have been creating characters, games and stuffed animals. What started as a way to amuse myself as a child has turned into the most incredible creative career I could imagine. It has been a long road and a lot of hard work and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes! I graduate in May and am so excited to get the show on the road with my life! For those of you who do know me, you know this is no joke! The Toy Design department here at Otis has recently announced a trip to Tokyo so that we may experience the amazing culture of Anime and character art that is so prevalent in Japan. We will get to visit a toy company, a university and some museums. As I have signed my life away in student loans, I am asking for your help in sending me on this wonderful trip. Soon I will be starting my career and hopefully a family, so I do not know when I will have the opportunity to do something like this again. Any help at all would be immensely appreciated.
