Many have asked how they can help my Aunt and Uncle at this time. My Aunt Becky is one of the world's most incredible women. She is admired for her strength, her kind heart and for everything she is made of. She called my mother August 3rd with complaints of chest pain. When she arrived at the hospital they determined she had a heart attack. The initial procedure of an angiogram discovered she would need triple bypass. Today, that has been increased to quadruple bypass. The recovery will be several months, meaning no income. This event has come just a little after a month of her husband having a below the knee amputation as the result of a foot infection. They have had quite the adjustment, without complaints. They moved on with life with faith in god and love and support from friends and family. Becky works for Monroe School district and thankfully has insurance. She is not one to ask for help, but I have received so many requests of how folks would like to support her. This is a convenient way for folks to help in a monetary way, if they are able.
