Crossmolina Vision 2025

The "Community Development Area" is a 22-acre site near the GAA pitch that we are seeking to purchase on behalf of the Crossmolina and surrounding area Community. The reason we feel we need this land is because the government have made clear that while funding is available to build new facilities in Crossmolina, the Community must have land on which to build these.

Think of this as an investment in ourselves,  we are putting money in to get something out and by successfully securing the Community Development Area it will allow the community to build new facilities that will serve our people.  What facilities are built on the land will be totally decided by the local community, some feedback that the community has already given has indicated a desire for projects that will improve tourism, sports, leisure, elderly care, and assisted housing.

If you can contribute to this fund, we would appreciate it dearly.  The money needed must be raised in a short amount of time to complete the purchase of the site.

We are hoping that if we're successful, this will be one of the most significant upgrades to the Crossmolina area in quite some time.
