Croom Family Hurricane Michael

WHAT IS 1 OF THE SCARIEST PARTS OF HURRICANE RECOVERY? The daily expense of displacement is terrifying.  Now these angels - my brother Stephens Croom, sister-in-law Marcia Croom and their 5 adoptive children Phoenix, Fiona, William, Winston, and Julius must wait for their house  near Panama City to be repaired after a pine tree fell on it Wednesday (while they were in it).  We are so thankful everyone is safe, but now the real work begins.  My brother will be returning to work at Lowe's, but my sister-in-law, a mental health case worker will be working out her car indefinitely while her office is repaired.
They are looking for semi-permanent housing in the Lynn Haven, FL area (Bay County) while they rebuild their partially destroyed home.

After seeing destroyed homes and people who have lost everything, we may be tempted to donate clothing, food, bottled water, or other supplies. Aid organizations say donations like that often create logistical nightmares and more expense. A financial donation can be spent on what is needed most at that particular moment.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, is welcome.  As anyone who has been through a natural disaster knows, insurance will not cover everything.  They will surely need it and we will be forever grateful for your support.
Kindly,
Carolyn Croom Freeman
