Crocker Street Park

Dear Friends of Fox Lake,
I have been looking into how to improve the West Crocker Street Park. It is located in the middle of Fox Lake. It now has a slide playground that is located about 7 feet from the street corner and some swings and a half basketball court. I believe the Boy Scouts are planning to install a Gaga Ball pit as part of their Eagle Scout program.
I have attended some City council meetings and they are in agreement to improving the park. 
As a business or group in Fox Lake, my request from you is to consider donating to the park improvements. This will be an ongoing fundraising until enough money is raised to purchase equipment. 
Playground equipment can range in price from $10,000-$40,000 depending on how much you want to add. The existing playground would stay until it is no longer safe to play on. We would like to add new swings and some new equipment which would be centrally located on the lot instead of so close to the street. In addition to the cost of equipment there is the cost for installation and the surface material under the equipment. I would also like to see new benches put in there, so if you anyone would be willing to build some and donate that would be great!!
