Too Many Critters - Not Enough $$

Due to the rapidly rising price tag on my first gallery show, I am asking for help to afford the materials I need in order to do it properly. (NOTE: I am offering stuff in exchange for help, so please scroll down for more info on that!)

Last year, I created 366 individual critters in 366 days (it was a leap year!). I called it the Critter Challenge, and it resulted in a pretty mind-boggling collection. I am scheduled to display this show at three galleries this year, starting in April. I am extremely excited about this opportunity. In order to make this happen, I have discovered that it's going to be very expensive. I am not so excited about that.

Here is what I need:
Seven units for displaying my critters = $2961.22
366 12" x 12" photographs at $1.99 each = $728.34
366 foamcore backs at $1.80 each = $658.80
Postcards, business cards and various signage = $500
Rental Van - $150 x 4 trips = $600

GRAND TOTAL = $5448.36

I need enclosed display units because I can’t safely leave these critters on a table for an entire month. The vast majority of them can be easily picked up and pocketed. The cheapest display units I could find are going to be over $400 each. I need seven of them in order to display all of my critters. That amounts to almost $3000.

The photographs and foamcore backing is needed to let viewers see my entire year at a glance. I plan to hang the pictures on the gallery walls in the same way that the days in the 2016 calendar were arranged so viewers will be able to follow my timeline. The critters will be arranged so that I can give prominence to themed groups that I created. I also want them to be placed so they look like they're interacting and having a great big critter party!

Business cards, postcards, gas, meals, van rentals, and other stuff adds up fast. All the other various taxes and fees that go with this campaign are going to take a chunk of change, too!

$25 LEVEL: A little "Thank Ewe" (tiny sheepie figuine)
$50 LEVEL: A bigger "Thank Ewe" (sheepie bell thingy)
$100 LEVEL: I will send you one random Critter from my collection.
$150 LEVEL: You're in control! I'll make ANY CRITTER you want me to!!
FINALLY...My Big Goal:
I’m doing these shows because I am trying to attract bigger commissions and projects. I love making these little guys and I want to do this, as a living, for the rest of my life. In order to do that, I need to make a really good impression with these shows. And in order to do THAT, I need these materials! Please please PLEASE help me afford them…
