UPDATE: Thank you for helping us meet our goal for these 9 critically injured animals. Their treatments have started and we will update you. We have estimated most of the costs below, so we will let you know if they require more funds. Our estimates are just the bare minimum. We didn't include other costs such as FOOD. If we surpass our goal, we will ensure to use the money for food, vitamins and supplements for these critically injured cases. For example, a few of these dogs will be switched over to a high protein diet that we will pay for.

We have our hands full this month at Animal Care Zone. We have come across 9 cases that are critically injured and require our immediate attention.
We are currently using some existing funds for spay/neuter projects, feeding stray cows and giving 10 disabled street dogs customized wheelchairs. So we need your help with these critically injured cases.

Case 1: Voldomort, called Voldi with love.
He was found with a broken jaw, missing nose and fully ruptured paw.
He needs 5000 INR which is about $90 CAD for amputation and primary treatment. He might be a life long member at a shelter, because we don't think we can release him back to the streets in this condition.
Case 2: Sultan
He was found in the village of Sultanpur, Punjab, with a eye completely infested with maggot wounds. He had to be taken back to the main city of Chandigarh, where will be sponsoring his medical treatment, neutering and boarding for 1 month. He needs 7000 INR which is $125 CAD
Case 3: Mukti
Mukti was found with a completely flattened paw (the worst paw injury we have ever seen). We assume a truck probably ran over her paw and left her in extreme pain. She was taken in and her leg amputated in April and she was spayed. However, her leg has not healed the way it should and she requires a second surgery by a specialized orthopedic surgeon. She needs 10,000 INR which is $178 CAD.
Case 4: Lucy
Similarly to Mukti, Lucy was found in the same condition. A horrific paw injury, which led to her amputation. However, the amputated leg didn't heal properly. It keeps on getting infected and swollen. Lucy needs to see a orthopedic surgeon for a second surgery. She needs 10,000 INR which is $178 CAD.
Case 5: Maya
A pregnant stray cow was hit by a truck and therefore had a miscarriage. The accident led to internal organ damage, muscular trauma and an abdominal hernia. To help us cover her surgery, we are looking to fundraise for Maya, 5000 INR which is $90 CAD.
Case 6: Choco
Choco is a 7 month old female. 2 months ago she got into a car accident and got a hip fracture. She was treated for that, and learned to start walking again. However, a few weeks later it was detected that both her kidney's are deformed. She had kidney failure and needed consecutive treatment for many days. (Sorry for the slanted view of Choco's bills. That's the only way it would fit). We need to raise a total of 14,000 INR which is $250 for Choco.
Case 8 and 9: Vanilla and Ice-cream
2 neglected, abused cats were found in the town of Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. Their owners had mistreated them, so our partners took the cats into their custody. The cats were found in horrible condition, with both front paws cut off. They have received a bath, and are in a foster home now. We are fundraising 5000 INR which is $100 CAD for their medical expenses.
Case 10: Hellboy
Hellboy was found with a deep maggot wound and injury to his leg. We are fundraising 3000 INR which is 50 CAD for his expense.
In total: $90 + $125 + $178 + $178 + 90 + $250 + $90 + $50 + $50 = $1100 CAD
