Critical Thinking - Nigeria & Ghana

Tax deductible

Leo Igwe, the Nigerian humanist, has designed a CRITICAL THINKING workshop that contains 5 steps, called “iDOUBT ”.

The workshop has been taught 12 times, in Uganda, Cameroon, Nigeria, and The Philippines.

Igwe’s iDOUBT workshop has encouraged hundreds of participants to be skeptical of dangerous superstitions and religious beliefs.

Superstitions critiqued include:

Will Mount Cameroon explode if an albino is not “fed to the volcano god” ?
Are Bakonzo witchdoctors lying when they say they can make the tribal soldiers bulletproof  ?
Is praying for rain to the Christian or Muslim god, a total waste of time ?
Does “child sacrifice ” truly produce quick wealth?
Students who let their pens and pencils ‘sleep’ in a church or mosque , instead of studying for exams - is this effective?

The iDOUBT method is perfect for SubSahara Africa, especially nations plagued by irrational belief systems. Ghana is ranked the world’s #1 Most Religious Nation, Nigeria is #2.

Ghana frequently accuses women of witchcraft; numerous “witch camps” exist in the rural north for women scapegoated and expelled from their villages.

Nigeria battles the Islamist fanaticism of Boko Haram , and the Pentecostal persecution of “witch children .”

Leo Igwe’s iDOUBT method can be taught in colleges, secondary schools, primary schools, community centers, and women’s collectives. Participants are enlightened to thinking rationally, instead of relying on faith. The result is: they are guided, by their own rational thinking, to secular humanism.

Every iDOUBT Critical Thinking workshop costs between $65 - $125. Funds provide food for participants, copying of workshop materials, $20 for the workshop leader, and Leo Igwe is sent 5% of funds for his assistance.

Please help us promote rational thinking, skepticism, and secular humanism in Nigeria and Ghana. The dangerous beliefs of Christianity, Islam, and traditional African witchcraft can be eliminated with Critical Thinking.

All donors receive photos and reports from the workshops. Past reports can be viewed HERE and HERE .
