Donation protected

This is Cristine, she’s a frontline nurse, Mom , and a wife . Last year after giving birth to her first child she found out she has autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis.

Myasthenia gravis is a chronic autoimmune disorder in which antibodies destroy the communication between nerves and muscle, resulting in weakness of the skeletal muscles it affects the voluntary muscles of the body, especially those that control the eyes, mouth, throat and limbs. develop weakness of muscles of the face, jaw, and throat. In such cases, associated symptoms may include difficulties speaking (dysarthria), causing the voice to sound weak, hoarse, or “nasally,” and increasing chewing and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) during the course of meals, leading to choking, coughing, or inhalation (aspiration) of food or liquids.

At this moment Cristine is in the hospital in the intensive care unit (ICU)  with a nasogastric tube (NGT) that reaches all the way to her stomach which helps her eat and a endotracheal tube connected to a ventilator which helps her with her breathing, she is having a difficult time breathing and swallowing. She is also experiencing muscle weaknesses throughout her entire body.

Cristine needs 20 vials of IVIG (medical treatment) and ongoing care from the hospital she is currently in. She is not the wealthiest person as she provides for her family. During this devastating time in her life she needs all the help she can get to surpass this disease and be there for her daughter and family.

Thank you very much please pray for cristine.
