Crisp Packet Survival Blankets for the Homeless

Raising money so I can rent a room at the Hub on Freeman Street (£30 p/w) so volunteers can join in on the workshops to make survival blankets for the homeless using crisp packets

I still haven’t been able to get in touch with local companies for waste plastic to make the blankets and bivibags more waterproof during the winter months so I’m buying clear plastic bags from Screwfix (£7.51 for 50)

8 bags cover one roll mat
4 bags cover one blanket

I’m also raising a little bit of money to buy food to hand out to the homeless while I’m on my rounds every night 8-9pm
