Maddy's Lawyer

Maddy needs a lawyer. Most of you know that she has been involved in a custody battle over her precious 5 year old. When her ex-husband, moved to NM last summer, she followed because she knew that he would fight her for custody otherwise.  So, she went, and although she really does LOVE Albuquerque, it just wasn't the right time for her to be there. She could feel it in the core of her being. Prescott was calling her back. So she came back to Prescott in late January and was fighting to bring her son here. Josh has had him in NM for the majority of the year and she missed him terribly. There were days she couldn't even see a little boy his age at the grocery store without having to hold back tears. They had their trial and she says it was probably the most excruciating thing she ever gone through. Imagine, being in the court room, representing yourself, and having to take the stand right across from your ex-husband and his attorney. 
J. was registered for Kindergarten at Skyview school this fall, however, the Judge's decision was for to live in Albuquerque, with his father and Maddy will only get him on school breaks.
Maddy needs a lawyer to appeal this decsion and any decent attorney is going to charge a $5000 retainer. This page is to help fund an attorney for her. Let Maddy have her boy!
