Cremation cost for my father

My father was a hard working man. He fought prostate cancer for 15 years. He retired early in June of 2010 and then in October 2010 he had a massive stroke that left him paralyzed on the left side. He spent his whole retirement in a nursing home. It was determined in August of this year his cancer was back and had spread all over his body. Our family was not prepared for that news. With limited retirement funds my parents had went to pay for his nursing home care. My father lost his fight to cancer on November 6.

My father was my hero...he was always there to help others no matter what was needed. He worked hard for every dollar he made to support his family.

I am not one to ask for help however I am asking for support to help cover the cost of his cremation. My parents didn't have life insurance policies and my mother wasn't prepared for my father's passing so soon.
