Cremation and Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My mom (Sylvania Calicdan) fell sick on Nov. 27th, 2020 after spending family time with me, my sister, and my dad. She started to feel pain in her chest later in the night, so we rushed her to the nearby hospital, and this is when things turned from bad to worst. She suffered complications after cardiac arrest, which led her to be in the ICU for 2 weeks on life support and dialysis. Unfortunately, she continued to be in a coma with severe brain damage and multiple organ failure despite all the treatments. After battling a good fight, we decided to put her under hospice care to honor her wishes of not wanting any ventilator or any other tubings if there was no hope for improvement.
We are saddened to announce that my mom passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of December 21st, 2020.
My mom was a loving mother and best friend to me and my 15-year-old sister Jeah. She was my dad's loving wife and partner for over 24 years. She was full of life and cared everyone around her. We did not expect any of this to happen so suddenly and would greatly appreciate any donations to assist us in this difficult time. Donations will go towards medical bills and cremation services. Any additional funds will be very helpful in covering other bills and expenses until I graduate and find a job next year.
