COVID-19 “Farm Feed Your Neighbor” Fundraiser

Dear Friends,
We have all been impacted by COVID-19 and the uncertainties it has created: How long will this last – weeks or months? What will happen to the grocery stores? Will we have access to food? Who will have access to food?
At Seed Song Farm & Center (previously Brook Farm Project), we will have food available for our community throughout this pandemic. Greens are expected in May, and June 6th is the first day of our Community Supported Agriculture pick-up when people can choose their weekly distribution of fresh, local, seasonal, chemical-free vegetables, herbs, and you-pick flowers. To ensure safe pickup of vegetables during the epidemic, we are creating a drive-up farmstand at the farm for both CSA members and a la carte purchases. We may need to deliver vegetable shares to neighbors without transportation or to partner organizations for distribution.
Many families will be struggling financially through COVID-19. People will not be getting pay checks. This will have a long-term impact on millions of people. How will they make ends meet? How will they feed their families? Imagine the extra stress they are feeling right now. Who can help? You can!
Seed Song Farm & Center can feed our community, but we cannot do it alone. Contribute to our Farm Feed your Neighbor campaign so local families in need get our fresh nutritious food throughout the summer, throughout the pandemic. Access to healthy food is a right no one should be denied.
Please help us make our goal of providing at least 25 families ($11,125) with our food. Our hope is surpass the goal to provide food for 100 families ($44,500)! These amounts include the funds needed to develop the drive- up farmstand, deliver vegetables where needed, and administer the program.

En Seed Song Farm & Center, anteriormente llamado Brook Farm Project, tendremos comida disponible para nuestra comunidad durante la pandemia. Tendremos vegetales y hierbas en mayo, y el seis de junio será el primer día de que nuestro Community Supported Agriculture (agricultura apoyado por la comunidad) estará disponible, durante estos eventos, nuestra comunidad podrá elegir su distribución semanal de vegetales, hierbas y flores. Nuestros cultivos son locales, de temporada y producidos sin químicos.
